Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City DLC To Hit PS3

Looks like Microsoft paid a lot of money only for timed exclusivity after all. Rumours were that the Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC would eventually come to the PS3 and Rockstar have now confirmed this after posting the following message on their newswire:

For the first time, PlayStation 3 and Games for Windows - LIVE players will have the opportunity to experience the last two thrilling chapters of the Grand Theft Auto IV saga.

The two action packed episodes will also be available for download on the PlayStation Network and Games for Windows® LIVE on March 30, 2010. Each episode boasts the same detailed and immersive Liberty City we all know and love. Games for Windows - LIVE players can enjoy 32-player multiplayer matches and an advanced video editor, and all fans will have the chance to once again listen to the dulcet tones of Liberty City Radio.

The Lost and Damned is a dark trip through Liberty City’s seedy underbelly as outlaw biker, Johnny Klebitz, fights to keep his gang together as a rift in the gang’s leadership threatens to tear the brotherhood apart. In The Ballad of Gay Tony, players explore Liberty City’s high-end nightlife as Luis Lopez, struggling to balance the temptations of money and vice against loyalties to family and friends. Both episodes feature a slew of new vehicles and weapons, and each episode adds new activities including cage fighting, gang wars and BASE jumping.

Looks like i'll be holding onto it a tad longer. Though i did think there were 3 epsiodes released on the crappy machine! :noidea:

Just a quick post to let those know who is interested in buying this.

Users of the 360 DLC version of Lost and Damned cannot play multiplayer with users of Episodes (on disk) version of Lost and Damned. Who knows if this will be the same for Playstation. We will have to wait and see.

Mik - just 2 episodes have ever been released. Theres a rumor that a 3rd one will be made invloving Packie Mcreary and his Irish family.

Remember R* $hit on us ps3 users just for some of the green from M$! Rather than play straight into their hands by purchasing now leave this mediocre effort until its value for money in a years time at around a fiver!!!

I.E. GET JC2!!!

p.s. yes, i know my post above indicated i was going to get it but that was before i found out they wanted 30 bucks for dlc!

You all should get it from Amazon for £24.73. That way you could trade it in, or sell it again on Amazon. Everyone's a winner, baby. I guarantee that Ballad alone will make you smile. It's definalty not mediocre Mik. Its so wrong it feels so right.
