Setting Up
* Change to the chosen car from your garage, purchase it if necessary
* From the main menu choose, 'Arcade / "This weeks track" / Time Trial - Use whatever settings you like for the car.
* Use this thread to discuss the trial and share tips.
* You can view replays of the top 10 online, use these for tips on lines and setups....
* Get Racing and get posting!
* We'll try to update the times below daily, date & time of update is shown below. You can always view current times online within the game


Rules
* Please use Standard simulation settings for the Time Trials
* Please try to race Clean
* Laps with car fully of track will not count
* No Barrier grazing to enhance your time, accidental contact is fine
* Please post your times to this thread. Proof shouldn't be necessary as the top 100 are viewable online with dates so we will be able to verify the winner in most cases.
*Times in the top 100 will be added to this list from regular PSL racers
*Times set before this posts time will not be included
* The winner will choose the time trial car & track due to begin the week but one after current time trial has ended
* Players will not choose more than once in any 4 week period, the choice will fall to the next player on the time sheet in this case

hmm, I went by the official site, I guess that depends on where the server is located too.

Time displayed by GT.com is 2009/12/15 06:35:00 for MAD-THAN, which I'm guessing is Japanese time

This may be something we need to think about further. I've put your time in as I can see where the error in distinguishing time creeps in.

Do the in game times compensate for your location I wonder?

OK, just checked and the in game times are localised, in which case I'd have kept madthans time in anyway. Just I had YLOD and had to use the website which uses Japanese server time, and the difference didn't cross my mind.

yes mate the times u see in the site is in japan hours(i think)
but the times in the game in rankings are UK hour? NO
they are in greece time.here now is 20:05

Yeah it's fine mad than. The issue only came up as I wasn't on the ps3. It shows 21.35 for your time, so as long as you allow for gmt time all will be good.

I've not seen any discrepencies in game with MT's times and i'm sure he's done a few close to the deadline before so i guess they are all UK. But as you say, the site is Japanese time so something to keep an eye on.
