Hi,

I'm having trouble getting online.

When I try to go online I get the message "Checking Version". It downloads 6%, then it stops and I get the message "File download failed. Please wait a few moments and then try again..." When I try again the download bar goes fairly quickly to 6% then it fails again. I have tried time and time again over the past few days. I have deleted the game (data and save) and reinstalled it and the exact thing happens.

I don't seem to have any internet connection problems. I'm using a PS3 Slim bought here in Australia, and a 2nd hand copy of Everybody's Golf bought from the UK. The game and the PS3 work perfectly in all other respects.

Sounds like a server issue, I think all you can do is keep retrying. The downloads do take ages though, and if you recently got the game there'll be a few to do as well.

I think it doesn't stuck. It just takes hours to complete. I tried to download the updates 2 times, and it took me around 6 HOURS!!! I left the house and I had left it to download. When I returned back it was ready. Try it, leave it for hours to download, it will finally work. (I didn't have internet problems too!)

Mine wouldn`t even start, however this was ages ago. All I would see was a black screen.

The download still hasn't progressed; stops at 6% every time.

Well, I tried again yesterday and got a great surprise when the % went from 6 to 7, and on. I didn't change anything just kept trying as people suggested. Thanks again.
